| Dating
from the 1930s, this is undoubtedly the best stand in Kent and the pride
of the Kent County League. Luckily not normally a target of vandalism,
the stand has been well-cared for over the years, being part of a
private sports ground. Watching a game from the wooden bench seats is
like going back in time. The
simple lines, a combination of wood and corrugated iron and the grass
green paint make it a stand to be photographed again and again. Long may
it watch over matches.
