Holm Park
Our coach passed Holm Park on its way into Glasgow avoiding delays
on the main road. 'Just look at that' I said to the incredulity of all on board.
'Floatey's a nutter' was the kindest comment heard. In order to be able to visit I
volunteered to drive the minibus back to Glasgow on our next visit - three hours from our
base. When I arrived I found a Club member mowing the terraces, and who wanted to tell me
the entire club history. We were offered the chance of a friendly fixture on our next
visit, and I heard of the perennial problem of vandalism. On a subsequent visit I found
the wonderful pavilion burnt out from such mindless souls. What a ground!
