Tinto Park
I searched long and hard for this ground having seen a pitch-length cover
from the motorway three years before I found the ground.
Tinto Park is a ground to take one's breath away. The covered terrace is simply huge, with
years of neglect evident everywhere. The terracing extends round in beautifully curved
corners to reach the far side which has a lush growth of bushes and saplings. The road end
is smaller - a simple, relatively modern, terrace.
With a ground such as this within walking distance of the City Centre will someone please
encourage the Central Region to organise a Glasgow Hop?
