A website dedicated to the unsung gems of
British and European football architecture.
Primarily intended to cover the best of Britain's
Non-League football grounds, until I bought a
new ultra-wide-angle lens. Now I have now
become increasingly fascinated by Football
League grounds (but not the Premiership!) as well
as the odd stadium or two in Belgium.
Don't expect to see the new grounds - I prefer
big covered terraces and pitched-roof
grandstands, without an off-the-shelf 'stand' in sight.
'Potentially an anorak site' one review said -
praise indeed, and before the latest floodlight
section was included!
From the humblest of Groundhoppers to the most
sophisticated of Stadium Buffs...

Our speciality is noticing niche markets and

fellow-enthusiasts. Our series 'The Non League
Football Grounds of...' is now into its tenth volume, and further volumes are
already planned. Some have called me the Pevsner of non-League football
- who am I to argue?

Grounds Frenzy
- the book which inspired the website. This perfect bound paperback book
runs to 100 pages and features over 160 quality black and white photos
of a range of grounds. The format has recently been imitated by the
Penguin publication 'Posts'.

A further series is aimed at clubs themselves
- we will produce books for them to sell. The
first in the series gave Chelmsford City a
photographic record of their last year playing at
New Writtle Street - and the chance to make a
sizeable profit. Does your club deserve to see
